My husband had food poisoning and was well cared for. Though we were pretty sure what it was they were very careful to look for other possible causes. Very pleased and so happy we have them nearby. Caring and professional.

Recently my wife and I visited the Fountain Hills Medical Center. We were seen by Dr. Shah Manish. Dr. Manish, conducted a thorough examination, and provided onsite medications, with prescriptions to our local pharmacy for at home care.

Dr. Manish and is staff at the FHMC are a great asset to our community.

I went to FH Emergency due to pain and pressure in my right ear. The receptionist was most courteous. Check in was relatively easy (always many documents), but within a short time I was taken to a room. The PA was cheerful and most professional. The Dr came in soon, evaluated my condition and after a CT made a responsible diagnosis. He was very attentive and I felt very comfortable with the Dr and my entire experience.!

My husband and I went to Fountain Hills urgent care for a pain in his chest. The care and speed of all the employees was great. He was fine and we appreciated everything they did for both of us.
I would recommend them to anyone who needs medical assistance.

I came to this emergency department on January 23, 2026 for a severe asthma exacerbation. Despite visible wheezing and difficulty breathing, I waited a prolonged period without receiving a breathing treatment. The physician (Dr. James Mead ) I encountered was dismissive, argumentative, and lacked basic compassion during a medical emergency. At one point, Dr. Meade cut me off while I was asking for the treatment and said, "And You’re still alive," which was shocking, completely inappropriate given that I was struggling to breathe and seeking emergency care. My condition worsened due to stress and delayed care. Dr. Meade became explosive and dismissive. He stood outside my room saying Loudly and Rudely told me, “You can leave ! . "If you don’t like our services here, you can leave.” I was shocked and completely taken back .He was my physician, and I could not believe this was happening. He told me "You can leave and go to HonorHealth Urgent Care." When I asked why—because I needed treatment ; he threatened to call security.
At that point I realized this was not the right hospital or physician for me. I was scared because I could not breathe, and his behavior made me feel like he did not care about my wellbeing. I genuinely feared I could die in that hospital and never see my family or community again. I de-escalated the situation and told him I would leave. He then sat back down at the computer outside my room. He made the decision to have me leave rather than treat me appropriately. I went to another ER immediately afterward and received prompt care. This experience left me feeling unsafe, and I would not return. My driver was outside, and I had to leave quickly to go to another ER. At the next hospital, my vitals were taken immediately, I received needed treatment, and an x-ray was completed.
I will never step foot in this hospital again. It is very sad because other staff there have treated me well in the past, but this experience was completely different. As a community volunteer, I will also warn others to be cautious if they encounter Dr. Meade and my experience at Fountain Hills ER.
I understand that as healthcare workers we are all dealing with extreme staffing shortages and high stress, especially in a small community. However, that does not excuse Dr. Meade’s professional misconduct, negligence, unprofessional behavior, incompetence, treatment delay , and ethical issues. His behavior was completely unnecessary and unacceptable.
Dr. Meade should be required to take additional training in bedside manner, professional communication, and patient care standards. No patient seeking emergency care—especially while struggling to breathe; should be treated with hostility, intimidation, or threats.
I volunteer with three strong organizations in the Fountain Hills community and also serve in disaster response throughout the greater Arizona region. I am a Health Care Worker as well . If ALL emergency responders or healthcare workers behaved the way Dr. Meade did that day, the public would lose trust in the very systems meant to protect them.
I am grateful that I took the initiative to leave and go to HonorHealth Scottsdale ER, where I received immediate and appropriate care. Honestly, directing me to competent professionals was the only helpful thing Dr. Meade did during that encounter. Check his past reviews from Yelp , Healthgrades (NY to AZ ) on different Platforms . Terrible reviews.

I took my girlfriend here because she’s been struggling with reoccurring illnesses. I waited in the waiting room while she went to see the doctor. we weren’t there for very long so she got everything done in a timely manner. The staff was polite and she explained to me that they listened to her complaints and the medications that were prescribed have been helping her. I notice her moods are better and she’s not dealing with such uncomfortable feelings. They provided paperwork instructions to take home, which also helped me educate myself so I can support and take care of her the best I can. Would definitely come back. Thank you!

I went to the emergency room recently because of a sudden rash that appeared, and I was so impressed with how quickly I was seen and cared for. The staff at check-in were kind and efficient, and I barely had to wait before being taken back. The nurse and doctor were both incredibly attentive, they listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and helped calm my nerves. My treatment was quick and effective, and I left feeling much better and very reassured.

I’m so grateful for how professional and compassionate everyone was. It’s rare to have such a smooth ER experience, and I really appreciate the excellent care I received. Highly recommend!
